First Annual FUN Dog Show
FREE ADMISSION!!
Saturday, August 7th 2010 at Trinity Church Gardens, 121 Ford Street, Boonville, 13309 New York.
Registration: 10:00pm – Show starts at 11:00pm
1 class is $3.00 or 4 classes for $10.00
Pre-registration: 3 classes for $6.00 or 6 classes for $9.00; additional class $1.00.
Last date for pre-registration: July 26, 2010
Conditions of Entry
No puppies under 4 months
Dogs must have proof of up to-date vaccinations (rabies, distemper) prior to 8/07/2010)
No aggressive dogs
No sick dogs
No females in season
Dog owners are responsible for cleaning-up after their dog. “Poop” bags will be provided upon registration. “Pooper scoopers” are encouraged to be with owners at all times.
All dogs must be on leash and under control at all times.
Disruptive and vicious dogs will be dismissed – NO EXCEPTIONS.
Only dogs registered in this event will be allowed on the premises. No other animals will be allowed on the grounds.
Dogs from the surrounding rescue and humane societies will also be participating free of charge wearing “ADOPT ME” bandanas.
There will be a panel of three judges, door prizes, a silent auction on pet gifts, paintings of pets, pet clothes (for owners and pets) pet foods, and general items of interest. Refreshments will be available in the parish hall. FREE ICE CREAM FOR CHILDREN. When not competing, please keep your pet on a leash at all times. Make check payable to Trinity Episcopal Church and mail pre-registration form and check to:

Prizes: Blue ribbons will be given for first place in each class. Red ribbons for second place. $50.00 award to winner of last class “Best in the Show” – for this last class, dogs must be a blue ribbon winner. Judges’ decision is final.

1. ___ Best Performer – two minute limit per dog. Does your dog know a trick, sing a song, rollover and play dead? Good Enough!! Award is given for crowd pleasing tricks and for handlers and dogs that visibly enjoy working together.
2.___ Best teen/adult** handler -- 13 yrs. and up
3. ___ Best child* handler – 12 yrs. and under
** & * In classes 2 and 3, judges are looking for dog/ handler pairs that are well turned out, well mannered and enjoying themselves.
4. ____ Waggiest tail dog
5. ____ Most unusual mix -- judges are looking for a cross breed/mongrel that is singular and unique
6. ____ Dog and Handler look alike
7. ____ Disc, tennis ball, etc., dogs – dogs and their human throwers demonstrate distance catching and choreographed freestyle catching.
8.____ Most Obedient dog – judges are looking for dogs responsiveness to handler’s commands, and for handlers’ and dogs that visibly enjoy working together.
9. ____ Best Veteran (aka oldest dog). Presented to the oldest dog based on age listed on entry form/and or whoever enters the ring with the oldest dog. Oldest dog wins first place, and so on. Class will be split by weight. First Split – To 45 Lbs, and Second Split to 46 lbs and over.
10. ___ Best brace (no, this is not about orthodontics, although best doggy teeth brace would be a good one!! A brace is a matching pair so you could have two Cockers or two Labs etc.)
11. ___ Best Mismatched brace (two or more dogs of different breeds or types so you could enter a Great Dane and a Chihuahua).

13.____ The most unusual name
14.____ Dog the Judges would most like to take home
15. ___ The saddest looking dog
16. ___ The curliest coat
17. ____ The teeniest dog
18. ____ The biggest dog
19. ____ The most untrained dog—judges are looking for the “free spirit” who is lovable but who lives the “good life” to the tune of a different drummer when handler commands.
20. ____ Best in the Show -- All blue ribbon winners compete for this ribbon and $50.00 award.

____ Musical sit (like musical bumps – judge shouts “sit” and last dog sat gets eliminated until one left).

By signing this form, I hereby agree to waiver any claim, action, or lawsuit and further agree to indemnify and hold Trinity Episcopal Church, Boonville, NY the host of this event harmless from any claims, actions or lawsuits resulting from my participation in this event, and any action, decision or judgment made by the approved judges of this event.
